Whose name goes first on the favor tag? Bride or groom?

I was told bride - but for my own I liked how it looked when DH's name was first so that's how I did it.

ever since helping with my SIL's shower and such the phrase I heard from people (invitation company, prients, etc) "ladies first"

Haha I always put me first, because I hate the way it sounds with my husband's name first. (Alphabetical order!) But yeah, no clue what the proper way is.

everything that was going to be handed out before our ceremony was over (save the dates, invitations, programs, etc.) had my name first. everything to be handed out after the ceremony (menus, favor tags, thank yous, etc.) all had DH's name first.
