I would DEFINITELY wait until he gets home. It's going to be SOOOO hard to do, but it really sucks telling people over the phone. I told both my parents over the phone (they are in NY, I'm in NC) and I really feel like it just didn't have the same impact--plus I'll never be able to see the look on their faces when I told them. 
Just think...in the meantime, you can think up a really awesome way to tell him!

Congratulations!!!! I think you should wait until he gets home as hard as that may be. Maybe you can buy him a little gift and wrap it up to surprise him, there are a lot of cute things out there for father's day now. That's what I did and couldn't wait for DH to get home to surprise him.

Congratulations!! I would make an appt with your OB/Gyn and think of a great way to tell your hubby. Maybe make him a nice dinner and a cake/pie for dessert... and have "You're Going to be a Daddy!" or "Welcome Home Daddy," written on it. You could also pick up a pie or cake from the bakery and have it written on there for you. That's how I told my family that we were pregnant at Easter and they loved it!! Good luck!

I called the Dr's this morning and got an appoinetment for June 16th, I am so nervous, What do they do at the appointment, just bloodwork???

Thank you all........This has been completely overwhelming. I can't wait for Dh to get home this Friday so I can tell him, I think that maybe I will feel better about everything once I can talk to him........This keeping to myself is killing me!!!!!
