wow talk about $$$$$
I was thinking of getting DD "American girl" doll and looked on the website to see what they have. They actually have a doll with DD's name but its $ 118 seriously???? 118 dollars!!!!
I can buy her at least 10 different dolls for that price at TRU or another store

I was disappointed to see that they just retired the one that shares a name with our dd to be. I thought to buy one from ebay to put away for her one day, but

Honestly, they are pricey, but they aren't meant to really be baby dolls or dolls for toddlers, they can be collectables as well.
And I got an American Girl doll when I was 9, in 1989 when the company was new and they were $92. So in 20 years to only go to $118 ain't too bad
And I still have mine

yeah, I know the day will come when I will drop some serious cash at that American Girl place in NYC. My cousin did it with her girls when the came to visit not long ago and it was hundreds of $$$.

I still have mine too---I got it when I was 10 I think!
