I think that is ridiculous. Your helping other people (friends) find a home.
This house doesnt say it has a basement nor does it say anything about the condiitiion. Im betting (and I could be wrong) that it needs a lot of work. This is JMO.

The house doesnt have a basement - it is a levitt cape built on a slab. Nope im not allowed to post anymore houses
Its ok though - I have been busy going house shopping with my friends brother - I feel like I am going through house hunting all over

Yes, it does but the cost of fixing up a house of that size (most likely) is less than the difference in price of comparable houses that are in mint condition.
We did that with our house. Our house appraised for 190K less than we paid for it. We gutted all of the baths (2.5), kitchen, new boiler, oil tank, installed CAC, all new electrical, all new interior doors, redid floors, replaced ceilings, etc. and we've come no where near that amount. We hired a contractor to do the work. Our RE agent came over yesterday (old family friend) and reappraised the house for an even higher amount.
Someone who is handy or who is willing to live through the mess will buy that house and fix it up. It's a great deal.

Yes there is a living room
The levitt cape is Kitchen on the right when you walk in to the house
Living room on the left
1 Bedroom in back on the left and onw bedroom in the back on the right - Bathroom
2nd floor is eith completely unfinished, one room unfinished or both rooms fully finished
The levitt cape didnt come with a dining room, but most people like us take the dividing wall down and turn the master bedroom into a dining room.
