One of the mommies on here uses it because she can't lift and carry her carseat because of carpal tunnel (sp).

Yes it's real, I just don't get their adverstisement for it:
"Tote your infant carrier, hands-free and pain-free! No more aching wrists or forearms: this parent-invented harness straps securely around your carrier, so you can carry it comfortably over your shoulder."
It should read no more aching wrists or forearms, but call a chiropractor because your back that's a different story.

OMG! That is ridiculous. Reminds me of when I called a store around me to ask if they sold a double bugaboo. She said no but the owner has twins and she put them both in the bassinet part of the stroller. Ya ok I'll go spend $600 on a stroller to have them share

Just looking at the pure physics involved, I don't see how it would be comfortable. There is so much weight so far in front of the woman, it would have to put a lot of stress on the back and neck. Even the carriers that hold DC right up against you are painful after a while. I can't imaging doing it with a carseat, too. Plus, carseats are hard plastic. That's going to dig right into your chest. It might be OK for a newborn, but after they are a month old, I don't see it working well anymore.
The reviews also said you have to stick on some Velcro pads. How secure is the velcro stickers? Do I want to carry DC, relying on stickers?
