Would you schedule a c-section for St. Patty's Day?
DH and I want to schedule the C ahead of time so we get the day we want and don't have to think about it.
It depends on OB availability but if I call tomorrow there is no reason I can't get the day I want.
I would prefer not to wait an extra day (the 18th) because then there is a small chance I'll be in the hospital for my birthday, the 23rd.
I'd be fine with the 16th or the 17th, obviously the 17th would give me an extra day to try for the VBAC, but I don't know if it's weird to schedule the C for St. Patty's Day. Neither DH nor I have ANY Irish blood but DH did point out that we can never go out for St. Patty's Day after this if it's DD's birthday

hmmmmm, i think it would be fun to have my birthday on 3/17! when she is older, it'll be an even better excuse to go out and drink

I agree. Just think about her 21st b-day! not sure if that is an argument for or against. my 21st b-day was on Thanksgiving so Thanksgiving eve at midnight, the party was on. Oh what fun we had....sorry! Off topic! I could go for getting drunk right now

Lb, i have no irish in me at all either.. so i would definitely use that date.. its up to you though!! either way its coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
