Would you pump in public?
And i mean covered up of course. If you didn't have a choice to find a private spot?
I am going on a business trip and will be in taxis and on a train for a majority of the day minus a few hour mtg. I think there are outlets on the train. Is this doable?? I am nervous about finding a time and place to pump before, during or after this client meeting in Baltimore next Wednesday.

Probably a combo of your first two options. I would absolutely try to find 10 minutes to pump in private, even if it's in a bathroom. I you can't, then you do what you have to do. As long as you're covered and discreet I don't think most people would notice.

I've had to do it before -- I'm not a fan but I'll do what I have to do.
Nursing in public is more socially acceptable than pumping in public, but again -- gotta do what you need to do.

I would (and have) find a bathroom to pump. I brought lysol wipes with me to sanitize everywhere.

I wouldn't pump in public. I would find a bathroom and do it in a stall. Less stress for me means better pumping session.

Remembering what it was like pumping I would have to say that for myself, no, I wouldn't do it in public. I wouldn't take issue with someone if they did do it in public but I'm so clumsy I could just see myself giving everyone a peep show trying to get it done.

Ugh, what an annoying and stressful situation! I feel your pain! I would definitely just pump in a bathroom. I would definitely have at least one or two mishaps trying to discreetly pump in public lol. I would flash people, spill milk, all kinds of things haha.

i pump in my car on the way to work every single day..it is what it is.. i try to cover as much as possible, but i have two devices coming off my chest. must be comical for those who pass me by..

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Every morning for months. I used a nursing cover though.
As for in public.... I don't know? Will the bus be just for employees? If I were with my peers I wouldn't care. But I wouldn't on a public bus or train unless I was surrounded by people I knew. If it were surrounded by people I didn't know I wouldn't. There are too many creepy people out there.
