Would you mail New Address Cards for a new apartment?
DH & I moved to a new apartment a couple of weeks ago. We're undecided on whether we should just email our friends & family with our updated info, or if we should mail New Address cards?
Since its part of what I do for a living, it would cost me almost nothing to do ... its not like I'd have to order them from somewhere ... so the cost isn't really an issue.
I just don't know if its "silly" to do for a rental that we plan on living in for a few years vs. purchasing a home that would be a more permanent address.
If you DID mail cards, did you send them to very close friends & family, or to more extended people as well?

everybody should do it. no matter if you move into a home, apartment, co-op, cond, camper, RV, tent....

DH and I have moved into two apartments since we have been married and have sent New Address card each time. Lets everyone know where you are!

 Dayna, you're too sweet! I'm gonna save the really fabulous ideas for when we buy a house. For now I think I'll keep it simple. 
Thanks for the support everyone! I thought I was just paper-obsessed (well, ok maybe I am anyway) ... Glad to know its normal to send 'em!

I would too - saves people the trouble of asking you/tracking you down when they need to send out save the dates, invitations, holiday and birthday cards, etc. Especially since you can do them yourself! Congrats on the new place!
