Would you keep DC home for a 100.4 fever?
Yesterday it was 103 and today he seems better but he still has a slight fever.
DH told me to send him to my SIL's but I don't think I should. She has 2 kids of her own.
WWYD?

If he wasn't feeling well with a higher fever the day before, I'd say you can't blame it on just a low grade teething fever, or something like that, and keep him home the extra day so he doesn't pass it to the others.

i would keep him home. my kids doctor always says to keep them home till they are a full 24 hours fever free.

My daycare says that they have to be free of fever reducing meds for 24 hrs. But even if I would def keep him home

No I wouldn't send DD if she had 103 yesterday and 100.4 today - since that is considered a fever. I would be afraid DD would give someone else something - and if she had 103 the day before I would assume that my DD was still sick today. DD has never had a fever but I have kept her home from classes etc b.c I believed she could be contagious and I didn't want her infecting other kids or risk being run down and catching something that would make her sicker.
