Would you go with another catering company?
I'm in NJ and got a recommendation from several girls from thenest.com for caterers for DD's birthday party. They all agreed on this one place. Well, at first the customer service was great. The woman I am working with sent me sample menus via email and then I called her back with my decisions and she was supposed to email me the overview with prices. That was last Friday. She said she was going to send them to me on Friday. I took into consideration the holiday weekend and called her yesterday. She said she had been busy but would send them over yesterday. Still no word...I just called her and she isn't working right now.
Is it me or is this an indication that I should choose another company? It REALLY irks me when people are unorganized. I get that she is busy...but I think I've given her enough chances. How many times do I have to call her to remind her to send me stuff? DD's birthday is June 21. I just want everything booked as soon as possible.
Would you go with another caterer or give the woman another chance especially since a few girls recommended her company?

Has this happened to any of the other girls on thenest.com? I would reach out to them and ask them. But i will tell you that I'd be peeved too. I expect to be treated in a certain manner and don't like having to chase vendors that I'm PAYING.

I would call again tomorrow and if you DO get her, I would let her know your concerns.......a discount might be in order!
