would you go into brooklyn today?
we have a big family christmas party in brooklyn at 1/2ish today, but the weather looks pretty bad. traffic right now says over 1.5 hours, and it normally takes about 40-45 mins to get there. The roads look bad, and i'm worried about putting dd in the car for that long (she doesnt really sleep in the car unless i'm driving on the faster side and dont stop too much lol)
If you had a party today in that area would you go or just stay home?

Idk, I am a wuss driving in snow so I'd want to say cancel. Can your Dh drive? How much longer is this snow supposed to last?

I think it's going to turn into freezing rain by 12ish, but that worries me about the possibility of ice. I am a wuss with driving too lol. Dh would be driving, but i think we are both more worried about being stuck in a traffic jam for hours than anything else

I would go. The snow is predicted to stop by one and the temperature is rising and is predicted to be in the 40's by 9 pm.

I'd go! There is hardly any snow and it's suppose to change over to rain anyway and melt. I wouldn't miss a big family Xmas party unless there was a ton of snow. There is only 2-3" out there, that is nothing IMO.
..................and it's warming up throughout the day so I wouldn't even worry about ice. The rain will just wash it all away on the roads.

It's raining now and main roads are just wet. I went to the gym at 9 am and had no issues.
