Would you do it?

My dd has been in full time daycare since 8 weeks old. She seems happy there and I feel that they treat her well. My grandmother broke her back and is now back at home and has a live in nurse 24/7. The nurse is very nice and has offered to watch the baby so that we can save money...she also feels it would help my grandma recover faster. I know I wouldnt want her to watch dd full-time but am thinking that maybe twice a week. I would only save around $25 a week at the daycare but every little bit helps. I also dont know how long the nurse will be around for but I know it will be for at least two more months. Do I take her up on this offer or do I not mess with success with the daycare and put dd through too many changes?

I would take her up on the offer as long as you're comfortable with her and that you can change back to a 5 day week at the daycare.

Good luck with everything. Deciding who is going to watch your baby is one of the hardest things to do.Chat Icon

Well it will save you m oney and like you said every little bit helps if your comfy with this nurse watching your daughter then I would do it and I would just double check with the day care that you can go back to 5 days a week.

If you feel comfortable with the nurse, I would do it. You can save some money and help your Grandmother at the same time. If my grandparents were around I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for them to spend as much time as possible with my daughter while they still could!

Yes I would do it as long as you feel comfortable with the nurse.
