Would you consider these bulky coats for the carseat? Opinions please.

Ds has gaps warmest jacket, but now that video of carseat safety posted last night, has me on the look out for a new thinner, less bulky, but just as warm winter coat. I saw one at LL Bean, its a fleece jacket, but its $50 bucks.

Old Navy has these two....would they be considered bulky? Does anyone have them, are they warm and or bulky?

That orange and grey one def. looks bulky to me. Not sure about the other 2 ON ones. The LL Bean one isn't bulky.

I always get my kids ones like that orange & grey one and when they get in the car they come off and then go back on when they get out of their seat before they exit the car. Now that they are older and do it themselves it's such a habit they don't leave any jackets on in the car, not even fleeces like the LL Bean one.

Thanks, do you think a heavy fleece would be warm enough? Im leaning towards the LL Bean one, its just more than I wanted to spend, since I spent a fortune of the gap jacket.

Here is the thing, we live in a co-op, so from our front door, we have to go down a sidewalk, down stairs on the outside side on the building and then to our car where ever we are parked in the parking lot, its not just a quick shot from the front door to the car, KWIM?
