Would you call and complain???

I posted a few weeks about about our reluctance to renew our Terminix contract this year - we went ahead and renewed (got a slight discount)...

So service tech came on Friday to do initial spring maintenance - it was a new guy - we have had the same guy for about 2 years now...

As I am leaving my house to go run errands I notice that one of our front bushes is completely BROKEN - it has been SPLIT down the middle and the branches are all severed :( The guy was still on the property - when I asked him what happened he just said "sorry, I must've stepped on it." This was no small bush - we have some very mature landscapping in the front that was installed by the previous owner. The bush is not officially dead but all the branches have been broken off and it will take YEARS for it to get as big as it was. The bush was at least 7-8 years old...

WWYD? Would you call Terminix and complained that this service tech damaged your bushes or just let it go?

Personally I am ****** but I am not sure if getting angry is going to get my ANYWHERE with them Chat Icon It looks terrible Chat Icon

I would call to complain because they should be more careful. If you don't call and or write them a letter they will never know. It won't really cost you to let them know more than a stamp or a phone call and perhaps they will replace it. I would be matter of fact and not emotional about it. If necessary I would contact their corporate hq.
