would this be a good Christmas dress?
Been eyeing this dress but not sure if it is good for christmas. Is short sleeves okay or will DD be cold?
I'm just afraid to order it and then see other dresses as christmas is closer.

we were just discussing thanksgiving and xmas outfits for ds... and while it is nice to dress him in a sweater... we find it gets very hot in all the houses we visit since the oven is on and all the people are there... you could always do the dress witha nice thin cardigan

DD#1(she is 8) has had short sleeves every christmas except one. We are always inside with alot of people and it is hot as heck. When we travel out, she has a coat. DD#2(17months) will have Short sleeves as well.
And I love the dress, it is totally adorable, but it does not seem Christmasy to me.

I love that dress, it's still in my shopping bag on their site for a regular dress 
If it works for the type of Christmas your family has, get it. Our Christmas isn't very formal, so it would work for us....though I personally know I'll find 100 other dresses for Christmas I like better

I think Alex would look adorable in it!! Why not buy a little shrug/cardigan to go with it in case it's cold in the house?

I'd say 90% of the dresses are short sleeve or sleeveless. Get a cute cardigan to match it will be fine.
