would this annoy you or is it just me being hormonal

I will say that I have been EXTREMELY hormonal lately and everything is annoying me or bothering me. When things happen lately I keep saying to myself that i'm wrong and its just hormones. With that said, I can remember when my sister had her second child and my mother and other sister went out and gave her a small little sprinkle of about 10 people in my moms small apt. Now here I am expecting my second and due in 5 weeks and NOTHING. Not even help to get things ready. I had to ask for help and even with that I feel like i'm an inconvienence. I'm not asking for anything big but a little help would be great. I already told them that I'll be going to bru to get any stuff I need but a lunch out would be nice.. hell anything where they wanted to do it and that I don't have to feel like an inconvienence would be nice. Sorry I guess this turned into a vent. Thanks for reading.

I would be sad too, but even more so because there's been no offer to help and your due date is so close.

Not hormonal, my feelings would be hurt too!

Just a few thing s to think about though. Did your sister have two of the same sex, close together like you? Some people do the whole sprinkle just for that reason and don't really think about the whole baby celebration aspect of it.

Also (not to get your hopes up) but, maybe they do have a little something planned and that is why they don't want to go shopping with you now.

I'm sorry though, feeling sad, annoyed and hormonal has been M O this whole pregnancy and you know it...lol!

Thanks for helping me think its not just me.. Randi, she did have a second child of the same sex but they were 4 years apart. Thats probably why they gave her one. I can understand the reasons of not having a sprinkle and I don't think I need one. A lunch or something else would have been nice though even if it was just my mom and sister. If I say anything to them though I get the "oh stop" from them.. It is only 5 weeks away though so i highly doubt they will do anything. Oh well. I think I have enough to do here to keep me busy and my mind off of it.

Im sorry! I would feel a bit slighted too. I know you would rather it come from them, but how about you just outright ask them if they'd like to go out do a lunch - say something like - I'd really like to go out with you (mom or sis/both) since we all know once the baby comes i won't have as much time to spend with you guys...also, coming from exp make sure you go out for one last dinner just you and your husband before the baby comes....ask one of them to sit for you!
