Would our current duvet set look terrible...

with the paint on these walls?

Our set which I love. We have brown sheets with it so I always wanted to go with the blue/brown scheme.

Walls as they are currently painted in the house we're getting...kind of like an olive green

When I was at BB&B yesterday the picture they had displayed on the wall of our set had walls in a similar green color. I just wonder if we can get away with it for a while before we paint...
Thanks ladies, I'm clueless with this stuff!Chat Icon

I'm not crazy about it, but you can get away with it for awhile.

For the most part, people really won't be going into yout bedroom except for the first grand tour of the house and you can always say that you are going to repaint it.

Tara, I have the same issue as you do.. we have silvery colored bedding & have no clue what color paint to get.

Re: Would our current duvet set look terrible...

I just redid my bedroom with green walls not quite olive but with the same undertone (not a sage) and I have a solid aqua-ish duvet. It looks so good!! My inspiration was an area rug I purchased - it had these 2 colors plus brown in it. I pulled it all together with throw pillows.

So Im going to say Yes.

I don't think so - You can probably find fabric with BOTH colors in it to cover a few pillows and break up the solid colors ....... - You need a stripe or pattern or something to break it up, but it can definitely work for now-
