Would like opinions please - stomach virus related
My mother was supposed to come over tomorrow to watch DS so I could go visit a friend and her 4-week-old son. My sister, who lives with my mother, came down with the stomach virus yesterday.
If you were me, would you tell your mom to stay home tomorrow in case she has it and just has no symptoms yet? Or is that being too paranoid?

Ughhh....
Normally I am not like this, but I would say tell her to stay home, sorry.
Christopher had it MOnday, I had it Wednesday night and it really is NOT fun and you are preggo

Yes I'd tell her to stay home. My entire family and babysitter wound up with it and it's brutal.

Tell her to stay home! I just had the stomach virus that is going around, and it is AWFUL! plus being pregnant, I wanted to die.

I would definitely tell her to stay home. Why take the chance? The virus going around is so contageous.

I'm not really paranoid like that but DD had it, then I got it then DH got it my mom and sister got it....it's terrible

My DH had it a few days ago then I got it (mild) and scared that my DS could it get it. So, ask mom to stay home, just to be safe. I am sure she will understand.

I would, that stomach virus seems to be highly contagious. DH had it one day and then I had it the next day, and then M&J had diarrhea for the next week and a half. It wasn't fun.

Thanks all. I asked her to stay home, and she was surprisingly understanding. Glad I am not alone in being paranoid
