Would it be wise if I ....

before we went to MD in april, I had bought 5 cans of RTF but it seemed easier to use the powder (I brought my dish detergent and brush with me and washed it all in the bathroom sink!).

Can I use it interchangably with the powder or should I stick to powder and give it to someone who uses RTF?

I don't know if this helps but I remember when my DD was on formula I used the RTF formula and was out with my cousin longer then usual she used the powder I needed another bottle so I used her powder and marissa wasn't to fond of it cuz it was alot thinner then the RTF formula

Re: Would it be wise if I ....

I used the RTF for a trip to D.C. a few months ago, and OMG, I regretted it so much! For some reason Alex didn't react well to it at all and she ended up crying through the night the whole time we were there. If you DO use the RTF, try it out first at home for a few days to make sure she's ok with it...

I would just use powder because it's lighter to carry. The just add water option was key for me.

Stick with powder for the trip & use the RTF when you're at home.

It might depend on the formula and the child. When we used Enfamil, Nate didn't switch between the two very well. On Similac Isomil Advance Soy, we switched between RTF and powder with no problems.
