I am one of those thats takes the baby everywhere but I'd say a ballgame (and I assume major league!) is too much.

Not for the noise, remember the womb is very loud. Louder than a vacuum cleaner I was told. But more for the possibility of not being able to shelter from the sun, juggling a feeding in those tiny seats, and although slim - getting hit with a ball or over zealous fan.

I guess I am a bad mommy then, we took Hayley to a Ranger vs Penguins (in Pittsburgh) game on New Years Eve. The Rangers lost so you can imagine how loud it was. She SLEPT thru the most of the game. Didn't even flinch when the fans started cheering.

She was 3 1/2 months at the time.

She sounds like a trooper.

How did you handle the feedings though?

I've decided that it will not be a good idea to take a 2 and a half month old to a ball game but I was just curious as to how you did the feedings? where you warm her bottle up?

I use room temp water to mix her powder so it wasn't a problem. I just sat in my seat and gave her the bottle. The bathroom had a changing table (the ones that fold out from the wall).

I had family with me so we all took turns holding her.

Yes IMO. It is loud, people may smoke near you, there is just too much chance of catching something...I wouldn't do it.

Re: Would it be too much if...

You can if you want to...in fact I was going to take Jared (at 3 months) to the Yankees/Red Sox game and decided not too. So my mother watched him that day. When I got to the stadium, I realized that it was a good choice....those seats are so tiny and we were in a section with the sun beating down on us. Plus it was so loud!! Jared would have been screaming...
