WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I was REALLY sick last week and was really excited to get my nails done, now that I am finally feeling better.

Well, I made the decision to go after work today for a mani/pedi and while the lady is starting my pedicure, she is clipping my toenails and accidentally cuts a chunk of skin off my big toe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It hurt so bad and was bleeding and bleeding.......... It was the most miserable salon experience of my life. All I wanted to do was relax and I was sitting there with this bleeding toe that hurt like no other. The lady gave me free flip flops and new thing of nail polish. When I asked if there was an accident report I can fill out in case it gets infected, she said there was none.

I have a wedding tomorrow night and my toe HURTS and has a huge slice which finally stopped bleeding.

Between last week's flu which I thought would put me in the hospital, and this experience at the salon, I swear someone put a curse on me!!

wow, talk about a bad experience!!! Cuts and stuff on toes hurt SO bad - especially since there are so many nerve endings there. I have found that using hydrogen peroxide (I just pour it on), it helps get rid of the pain!

NO NO NO. You get yourself to a foot dr and get treated for that. Then you bring the bill to them. They are responsible for that.

Thanks ladies I think it looks a little better than yesterday but it still hurts and I will have to wear a big ugly bandaid on my toe tonight when I go to the wedding.


I am NEVER going back there again even though I had been a loyal customer for 3 years now! This was just a result of pure NEGLIGENCE! She literally chopped off a chunk of my skin with the toe nail clipper, and completely missed my nail. How does that happen?!?!?! UGH

It still hurts, I hope I am able to dance.

Ugh.. my nail tech one year sliced my finger with the nail file and I was bleeding everywhere and all he could do was say he was sorry and put some anticeptic on it.. I never went back to him.. I hope your toe doesn't get infected..

OH NO! I hope you treat it right away and feel better ASAP! I would have been SO pissssed.

This is why I stopped going to nail salons frequently.

I don't care how clean they claim to be- I don't trust them one bit. So many accidents happen and infections spread. Gross.

My cousin got Hepatitis from her nail salon. The one she trusted for 15 years. She got the bad form of hep- the one that damages the liver.

Since then, I have been really afraid to go.

I go for Mani's here and there and bring my own kit. Most times though I do my nails myself.

Pedi's I get done only once in the summer and then I do my feet myself. I rather do the extra work then expose myself to mishaps and infections in the nail salon.
