Workload changing
Has anyone else started to notice their workload getting lighter? If so, how far along were you when you started to notice it? Even though I still plan to work for another 12 weeks or so, I have noticed that I have less projects coming in. Not sure if it is intentional or a coincidental lul.
Let me add that I am not complaining!!!! I have been overwhelmed for the past 4 years so I am welcoming the down time.

Re: Workload changing
When I was pregnant with DS they hired my maternity replacement about 8 weeks before I went out. By about 4 weeks before my due date I had virtually nothing to do all day. It was nice, but also boring as heck!

Re: Workload changing
HA! I wish.
I'm still being assigned clients and we work with them for about 3 months (12 weeks +/-). I thought i'd stop getting assigned by now but if I only have 2 clients, and the next person has 7 (max is 8) then I HAVE to get assigned someone else.
My boss will stop assigning me at the end of next month but I'll just transfer people over to a new therapist in August if necessary.

Re: Workload changing
So easy!! I have a pretty "cushy" job as some would say anyway, knock on wood. I love my job. My boss told me yesterday, basically from now until I go on leave, there isn't anything for me to do. I am sure I'll get a few things here and there, but for the most part, I am done!!!

Workload changing
My job got more busy when I was pregnant with DS. Now that I am a supervisor (including of a pregnant woman and pregnant myself) from an adminsitrative standpoint, you cannot lighten the workload of a pregnant woman without it being a type of discrimination -- against those who aren't pregnant if that makes sense. We are certainly trying to work it out with her and give assignments to others before her but if it comes to a matter of availability and she's next up for a case, we have no choice. Unless her doctor tell us otherwise.
