WORK VENT!!!

ARRRGGGHHH!!

So, I am an attorney and i have a case that is settling very early. We are thisclose to settlement. We are just hammering out the language of the settlement agreement. So usually, the Court would want us to meet at this point to see how we are progressing getting ready for trial. But since we aer working on the settlement, we stopped preparing for trial. I asked if they could push back the conference for a few weeks so we can settle everything. They said no. So now, we have to appear- which is a big waste of time because we are only going over wording...

Now today Icall for directions and they inform me that our clients HAVE to be there (very unusual this early). So I call my client but he is out of town. So the court says have him available by phone and tell the other side. So I call the other side and he says, "Not gonna happen." So I tell him, well the Court told me to inform you of this. He says again "Not gonna happen" So let the Court get ****** off at his client! But come on-- make some efforts- its not like the guy doesn't have a cell phone

NOW to add insult to injury- I am also admitted in NJ and finally took some required classes (5 year later) and they each required Home work- yes HW- which I haven't done in over 5 years. So I finished all the HW and sent it in. Now I get my "grades" and I get an incomplete!!! First I read that I have to take the class over!! Then on the next page its says I just have to submit the HW again. Apparantly they lost it. Like I need this aggravation. Of course I have it copied and proof that I sent it. But still! What a PITA!!!
