Work related - PTO
I may be offered a full time position and am a bit worried about the paid time off. Since moving to the west coast I have traveled a lot back hom e for various functions and holidays. I'm afraid that I won't get enough days to cover my travel. Do you think it would be unprofessional to ask (if I get an offer that is) if you can take extra PTO without pay? It would only be 3 days more a year.

If you wait until you are offered the job, I think its fine. You may even be able to negotiate a few extra days.
When I started my current job, I switched over to PTO. I thought it was going to stink, but it's not bad at all.
