Work Pet Peeves

1. Please don't "say" you know what you're talking about b/c it's easy to tell that you don't.

2. Please add a signature to your email messages so I don't have to waste time looking for your information in the directory.

3. When you come in late....it doesn't mean you can leave on time...make up the extra time dang it!

An easy one - do your job and stop passing the buck!

And for my two male managers - grow a set and tell the guys that you manage to do their jobs. I should not have to "call anyone on the carpet" for not following through for MONTHS on end. This is a multi-billion dollar corporation not a mom & pop store

i have a few for my fellow teachers -

if ur kids are loud in the hallway, stop and get them under control. i shouldn't have to stop my lesson b/c ur busy chatting away and dont realize ur line is misbehaving

if ur gonna be out on personal leave, call a sub well in advance, i don't want to watch ur kids for u

i dont mind helping u, but u have to help urself first, don't ask how to do something and expect me to do it for u. i'll show u just like we show the kids, then u have to perform

for principals - walk into ur teachers rooms and see if they are teaching...why do we still have unqualified teachers at our school? maybe you could tell the difference btwn the good n bad if u took a few moments to step out of ur office and walk around

if your wife yells at you at home BECAUSE YOURE A SUBMISSIVE LOSER, dont think you can come into the office and take it out on your colleagues - be a man, stop being a sissy to your wife and change your shytty attitude

dont think that just because your wife cleans up for you at home that you will get the same treatment in the office- stop being a PIG and put your shyt AWAY IN THE KITCHEN!

please do not put your calls on speaker phone on a trading flor. its called a receiver. USE it!

If you would like to ask a question or ask me to do something for you, would it kill you to ASK and use a question mark?

"I will be in the office tomorrow and we can discuss at that time." is not, "Would you have time to talk about this tomorrow, when I'm back in the office?"
