Woke up with a sore throat
I think that I am about 6 wks and I woke up with an awful sore throat! Although it could not be worse timing for work, thankfully I have my first Dr.'s appt today. Silly question, but will being sick will hurt the baby? Right now I am not taking anything and drinking lots of decaf tea.

you being sick will do no damage to the baby....most of pregnancy makes you feel sick after all

Nope - I think you'll be fine!! I was very sick with a cold in the early 1st trimester and lived on Tylenol Cold and Ricolas for about 2 weeks and my little one looks to be fine I will say that I took WAY less Tylenol Cold than I would have non-pg though, so I suffered through it a lot, but it gave me some peace of mind. Feel better

Thanks Hopefully we will have a sunny holiday weekend and I can dry out this cold!

I hope you feel better. I woke up this morning with a sore throat too and post nasal drip. I am going to call my doctor to see what I can take.
