This post just gave me the idea to visit my son tomorrow.. but I just don't have enough emotional stamina right now. I wish I did though. He's buried in Staten Island and I haven't been there since the burial.
I hope everyone has an easy mothers day!!
p.s. as I was about to hit "reply" Penny looked me right in the eyes and I think she wanted to say .. "umm hello.... you're my mommy too!! "

I saw this on my way out to SI to visit my parents, so I sent some special love to Jack while we were there. I'm assuming he's at United Hebrew on Arthur Kill Rd...if so, my parents live near there, and I made sure to say a little prayer as we drove by. 
I hope everyone is having an easy mother's day. May we all be celebrating as mommies or mommies to be at this time next year.
