Wish me luck...UPDATE!!
We are going for our first RE appt. today to RS of NY. I'm really nervous, but anxious to hear what they will say. I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on here about them, so I am going in knowing that if I don't get a good feeling from them we will go elsewhere. This appt. is coming on the heels of recieving DH's repeat s/a which came back worse then the first one Hopefully they will give us some answers.
***Well we had the appointment and I have to say I was VERY impressed. I went in expecting the absolute worst and really was pleasantly suprised. The girls at the desk were very nice and helpful, even called the insurance co. to clear up a misunderstanding that I was having. The girl who I dealt with before the appt. remembered talking to me on the phone and knew about the insurance issues (a whole other issue I won't go into). We got there well before the appt. because she told me we were going to have to fill out forms and we did. We only had to wait about 15 min after our appt. time to go talk to a nurse who got vitals/ PMH/ etc.. and then saw Dr. San Roman shortly after. I found him to be very pleasant, answered all our questions, did not talk to us like we were idiots, and felt very optimistic that based on our #'s we would be successful with IUI. There was NO pressure to go right on meds (which I don't want right now) and the BEST news is that since I am due to ovulate this weekend he said to call when I get a + OPK and we will do the IUI on the next day Nothing like jumping right into everything! Then we had some blood taken (for HIV test and I had to give some for CF testing). The nurse who we dealt with was SO nice. So I'm really relieved and happy we have a plan. Thanks for all the support ladies
And I just wanted to mention this was at the Stony Brook office, I have no idea how the other offices operate!!

ETA: DH's SA was much worse for his second SA than his first. But, we've gotten pregnant 4 times since the bad SA's, so don't lose hope.

Yeah, we didn't have the appt. until 1:30 and didn't leave until aroud 3. Sorry to keep you waiting
