Wish me luck in...
unconstipating my daughter today ENOUGH ALREADY WITH THIS NOT POOPING STUFF!
I just feel so bad. She tries and tries all day, then when she does poop (here comes the totally TMI)...it's like a hard little log She yelps and cries in pain
I've tried so many different things, but I need something I can use as a constant with her because the Neocate causes such constipation. I did not want to continue to give her pear juice all the time because it's way too sugary, she won't take water, not even with some sugar in it, and I don't want my baby to live on laxatives, so I am trying stage 1 pears today. They're much less sweet than the pear juice, and I'm hoping if it works, I can give them to her every morning and afternoon in hopes of keeping her regular. Just pray for us. This is getting very upsetting over here.

My doctor suggested water and brown sugar in it - i haven't tried this method yet - but i've always kept it in the back of my head. I hope your baby girl goes potty real soon!
