Wiring/plumbing/heating inspection done
The building inspector was supposed to come last week to inspect the electrical, and I believe the plumbing and heating. At 11:00, my contractor found out that he called in sick...  That meant another weekend with no insulation.... 
Luckily, my contractor knows people, and has been working with the town for 30+ years, so he was able to get the inspector over yesterday. The insulation went up as soon as he was done.
Woo Hoo, we have an insulated house now!
I had to get portable heaters for the bedrooms so at least we wouldn't freeze over night.
It's getting close now.....

YAY!!! 
i totally feel your pain with no insulation!! DH has a house upstate & when he first bought it, there was NO insulation & it was THE WORST waiting for the portable heaters to turn on in each room!!!!
