Winthrop rooms cost
my insurance will cover semi-private rooms, so if I want a private room, I will need to pay the difference...
Does anyone know how much are the semi-private rooms at Winthrop per night?
I know the private rooms are $250 p/n.

I don't believe you have to pay extra for the semi-private rooms- just the private rooms.

I don't believe you have to pay extra for the semi-private rooms- just the private rooms.
Right, but I was wondering about the cost of the semi-private rooms, so I can calculate the difference for me to pa out of pocket, if I end up getting a private room.

it is $220 a nite. Are you thinking of a private room I know i am but with a csection i think it might get pricey $$$

Be warned they aren't always available. So be prepared if you can't get one. I delivered my first at Winthrop and there were 46 babies in the nursery 
There were woman on gurneys in the hall ways!! That was my only complaint about winthrop. I would have loved a private room.

Oh no .. i m not sitting on no gurney in the hall way.  The will see a an RN/NEW MOMMY gone mad.

My friend just pain 220 out of pocket for the private room. that was after insurance paid there half. Im gonna try and call the hosp. and see if they can clear this up for us, this does make a huge differance.

No the difference between a semi-private and a private is $220/night (or more if they raised the price). You'll never see the cost of a semi-private because your insurance covers it. KWIM?

You have to pay an incremental $250 per night, not $30.
