When I was there in Jan of 08' it was Enfamil.

The way it was explained to me was, basically every 6 months they switch between enfamil and similac.

When my DD was born they actually had all types. the first feeding they had given us Enfimal but we wanted Similac so DH went to them to switch it. The nurse had told us it is usually whatever the pediatrician tells them to start with. they even had the soy one. BUT that was 2 years ago so it may have changed.

I think it depends on your ped. My ped uses Similac so DS was on Similac in the hospital (he was born in Jan 08). My friend delivered 12 days later and her DS was on Enfamil because that is what her ped uses. If you don't have a ped, it is whichever one the hospital gives you.
