winter babies

I didn't have anything for DS. He was born on Dec 28th of 11 but it was a really warm winter. I dressed him in fleece sleep and play and if we went out he had a blanket. He was also a hot kid. I was given stuff for gifts and he never wore them because he was always so hot.

I'm due in December and I don't plan on taking her out much except for dr appts. I'm just nervous with it being flu season and all the germs. I figured I would dress her warmly and then put a warm blanket over her to go from the house to the car. Is that not enough?

My DD was born in January and I had a carter's pram that I used when I had to take her out.

For my DS it was enough. We always warmed up the car and he was never outside for very long. And I took him everywhere so he was out on trips daily and he never was cold or crying due to beign cold.

DD1 was a Jan baby, during 2011 when we had a very snowy winter. I bought something similar from Old Navy. I'll probably use it again for this baby.
