wineries & lyft/uber

Has anyone been to the wineries lately and tried to use lyft/uber? Are they readily available out east? I feel like I heard that they were trying to restrict uber usage but I can't find any info about that. Would be using them to get to/from wineries from a b&b out there.

I have never used Uber at the wineries; I'm not too sure what the deal is with it out there. I have, however, taken cabs. It's not cheap, but it's safe, and you could have the cab drop you off at one that is in walking distance to others.

The last time I checked, Lyft wasn't on Long Island, but that was awhile ago.

east of patchogue, there are very few ubers.

i think only east hampton restricts them.
