Windows Vista
Does anyone know much about Windows Vista? I am having a problem with my scanner. We have the pc with the Vista on it as the server and the other 2 computers have Windows XP. So now the scanner won't work (it is an HP 2610 all in one thingy) the printer bit works fine, but when I try to scan a little message comes up on the screen on the scanner saying "you need to install or run HP software for this feature" The XP computers have the software on and I tried to download the software from HP for Vista on the Vista PC and it won't bloody work, so now I don't know what to try next - any help appreciated. TIA

I checked Microsoft's Hardware Compatibility chart, and couldn't find the 2610 listed. It might not be 100% compatible. A lot of hardware isn't.....
HP's site implies that it is compatible, though.
