Window AC
Those that have window AC units (especially on the 1st floor), how is yours secured? We have it screwed in, but I feel like it would be pretty easy to break in..  How well would a few measly screws secure a very heavy unit?
I know if someone really wanted to get in that there are many ways, but I don't want to make it any easier..

we usually take a piece of wood and jam it between the top of the window and the window that is open for the AC.
Makes it harder for someone to push the window in
