Will they still do an EPI if you are sick?
DD caught the respiratory illness going around and now after a night of sitting up with her, I have it to. I somewhat remember being told no to epidurals if you had a chest cold. I am so panicked over this since I could go at any time

Ugh! I have a cold right now and feel like doo so I feel your pain! Hope you feel better. There has to be something they could do. I could not even imagine giving birth today as sick as I am without being unconcious.

I dont think a cold would be a big problem but if you were running a fever.. thats a different storie. I know just a fever alone during labor can be a problem, so not sure if that effects the option of an epi too. Hmm ill have to ask my OB about this.. I dont have a cold now, but my luck in a week i will.

Luckily no fever- just a horrible cough which would SU CK in labor, trying to breathe. Now I just want this baby to stay inside until we all get healthy!
How is your tummy?

I *think* that is if you have a fever during labor b/c it could be an infection?
