Will be DD like this? Is she old enough for it?
My DD will be 28 months old in December. For the holidays I wanted to get her a sticker book, to keep her stickers in. She is obsessed with stickers and I usually guard them with my life and give her a sheet at a time. She only puts them on paper or herself. She is good about not putting them on furniture or books. And she is starting to get more picky/particular about which ones she wants and doesn't use the whole sheet at once anymore. However, I still am nervous she will destroy the sticker book or waste all of the stickers inside of it very quickly. I was wondering if I should wait another year to gift it or if you think she will actually appreciate it now?
eta: because i loved my lisa frank stickers and sticker books but I had mine when I was like 8 years old!!! Big difference...

I'd give it. To me, if kids have fun with it, it's never a waste. But don't expect the stick book to be used by a 2 yo the same way an older child would use it. So basically, she may go through all the stickers very quickly. But I don't get wrapped up in how something "should be" used by small children. They just have fun and experiment!

A sticker book is $2 - why would you not just buy one for her if you think she will like it? She probably won't fully get the concept, but for $2 I would take the chance!

Michaels had books of sheets of stickers for $1. I got Minnie and Christmas stickers. I got Sofia stickers in the dollar store too. Idk where to get the books. Maybe a scrapbook? My girls like putting them on themselves and eventually they get unsticky so they don't stick to my walls and floors well.

There's a brand Phidal with a line of My First Sticker Books and they are awesome. DD has the animal one and one other but they have outlines to show where each sticker goes and each page goes through colors or numbers or some other theme. If I sit with DD she can pick out the right ones and put them in the right spots and if she's on her own she still has a blast with it. I'm not sure where SIL bought them but the sticker says $1.00.
We also have one of the big M&D reuseable sticker books which DD likes but to me it's a pain bc they don't stick well and I end up picking up a million pieces up off the floor. They're more like colorforms really.
