wierd question...Jewish moms bris
I was watching Dr. 90210 last night. One of the doctors has a baby and they were performing the circumcision. The baby was sucking on a cloth, and getting all drowsy. What is it? I assume it's some kind of medicine, but what? I was surprised because the baby didn't cry, I know it's TV and they may have edited the crying out.

It's wine. I've seen more babies cry from being cold than from the actual cut.

DS didn't cry at his circumcision. I put a topical anesthetic on 2 hours before and 1 hour before and then right before the moyel did it. Then she gave him sugar water to suck on during the ceremony and afterwards he had a little wine.

Baron Herzog is MUCH better. There are some REALLY good kosher wines out there!
