Wide shoes for mom
Mom wears a 9W.
She's had luck at Payless but needs a change of venue..
We tried Macys Sat as well as Easy Spirit.
Macys had nada..the Easy Spirit store (although very helpful) sized her strange. She could wear a 8.5 WW on the right but it was way too big on the left.
So strange.
Besides online stores, what other stores have fashionable wide sizes? She can wear a small heel or wedge but not heels or flats.

I find it very hard to find wide widths in stores.
The Naturalizer outlet in Deer Park might have some. The actual Naturalizer stores always did, but the only one on LI now is in Valley Stream. There is also one in Manhattan.
DSW has some, but mostly loafers & ntoa great selection.
I use Zappos a lot b/c of the free returns.

i have a Wide Width and always have a hard time. The last time i went to sears in Commack/East Northport i hit the jackpot with wide widths- got 4 pairs of shoes.

I bought some shoes for my mom from Zappos. They deliver the next day and haave free returns.
I also find they have the most selection in wide widths than stores do.

Definitely check out Aerosoles -- outlet or regular store. That's where my mom gets all my grandma's shoes and she has a wide foot also. Comfy too!
