Why you shouldn't skip...
down the road to "The Wizard of Oz"
This past Saturday DH had a parade in Rockville Centre. Myself and a few of our friends watched the parade and then made our way to the bar. I had quite a bit to drink waiting for DH to meet up with us. We decided to go to a different bar and proceeded to walk down Sundrise Hwy.
Myself and 1 of our friends started singing "We're off to see the wizard" all the while skipping until I landed on my right foot which rolled and then made a pop/snap sound.
I ignored it till later that evening when I told DH we had to go to the ER. I sprained my ankle and bruised the arch of my foot. They gave me crutches. Only problem with the crutches is I have tendenitys (sp?) in my left hand and a bad left knee. Which are now killing me.
Moral of the story...If you are going to drink, stay in one place till its time to go home, or else you will have 3 braces on and people at work thinking you got hit by a car.
thought you might get a laugh of my stupidity I know I do

Ah you must have ignored the Wizard of Oz rule.
Skipping to that song only works well if you're on a yellow brick road.

Feel better.
Plus...what was the parade for in RC?
My friend got stuck in it and my husband got detoured because of it.
Just wondering what it was for?

Sorry took me a while to respond
The parade was for St. Patrick's Day!
I'm off the crutches now but I get this pop (like when your knuckles crack?) in the side of my arch which hurts. But I'm going to the doctor this week so I should be ok
