Why the Scale Lies
This is a great article on why we shouldn't (but usually do anyway) rely on scales to make us feel good (or bad) daily.
Enjoy

Re: Why the Scale Lies
I usually weigh myself every time I go to the gym on the same scale in my workout clothes with my sneakers on. If I weigh within a pound or two of my normal weight and it's not near AF, I dont' sweat it. If it's tipping at more than 2 and Aunt Flo isn't anywhere in site, it's time to stop raiding the vending machine at 3pm and eating french fries on the weekend. The key to embracing the scale and making it your friend is not caring about the actual number (I weight 6 fewer pounds at one gym than my regular gym) but the pattern of numbers over time.
