Why such vivid scary dreams during this pregnancy?

I remember having some vivid dreams last time around but not scary ones. Now I am just feeling rattled.

Two days ago, I dreamed that DD was kidnapped by someone who wanted to use her to get a green card (don't ask how, I just heard it in my dream). I got her back, but it was a frightening dream and I woke up in a cold sweat.

Last night I dreamed that I was bleeding heavily and thought I was miscarrying but (this is where it got weird) a whole bunch of different TV characters were all there and Dr. House (from "House") had healing powers and put his hand on my stomach and I felt a weird vibration and then I stopped bleeding and was okay. He also referred to my baby as "him" so I guess this is my first gender dream.

But even though each dream worked out okay, I keep wondering why I am dreaming such horrible stuff.

I'm having the same problem. I had the miscarrying dream. I had a dream someone was trying to steal my car and I tried calling 911 and it wouldn't work (a common occurrence in my dreams). I had a dream I was in my old elementary school and a kid followed me around and kept hitting me. I guess it's the hormones.

I have no idea but I do too. Even with my first PG. I have these crazy, vivid, detailed dreams. I have numerous ones a night...it is crazy!

I had them last time and this time.

Every night it is graphic and terrible, dead bodies, blood and guts.

I watch a lot of "criminal minds", "dexter" etc so I guess it is because of that.

I think it is a common of crazy hormones and the fact that we wake up at odd times to pee that we normally wouldnt (so you remember them)

Most of my vivid dreams are of the kind.

This is one part of pregnancy that I really hate. I have the super scary ones, had a miscarriage one, reliving my c section, and also
With my first pregnancy I kept dreaming the baby was a boy.

I think it's the hormones

I've had a few too. Some the involved serial killers that were after me.... and at least one of the serial killers was a midget, no joke.

I've had some really freaky dreams. I had to make sure to not watch anything scary to try to limit the dreams like that. It doesn't help too much, but it does a little bit.

Then I get an irrational fear that these bad dreams are going to send negative transmissions or something through neurons to the baby and the baby might end up with issues. haha. i know it's irrational. I keep trying to think good thoughts about pretty flower fields. haha. I'm a nut.

i had 2 dreams so far...but whats weird is the tech told me it looks like a and I'm hoping for a ...but in both dreams it was a !!

So...the first one i had the baby but i was by myself trying to do EVERYTHING! I had to carry bags of groceries and the baby carrier and when i tried to get the house keys out i dropped the baby in the carrier!!

second dream I was breastfeeding my infant on the couch when suddenly it turned into like a 5 year old child. (picture long legs taking up the rest of the couch!!)
