why not me why why why
So last night at work this girl comes up to me and says "steph show me your baby belly" she knows im almost week and half a head of her. I said umm.. what belly. LOL so she showed me hers and she has a baby bump. Now if i didnt feel pregnant before i really dont feel pregnant now. and then she goes on to say if you pokes hard that she can feel the baby. Now i try to take into consideration that before she got preg. she might have weighed 110 lbs ringing wet. But im still jealous that is normal right. I am so hormonal i even called my mom and cried and she laughed and said "oh boy this is gonna be a long 9 months". Thanks for letting me vent here i know you guys understand my pain

Don't worry, you'll get the bump soon enough! Is this her 2nd pregnancy? It is too soon for her to be feeling the baby either.

Re: why not me why why why
its her first!! she does feel the baby move but swears she can feel the baby body parts if she pushes in hard enough. I think she is imagining things but then again who knows i mean she is only a size 3 right now

Re: why not me why why why
My friend is 2 weeks behind me and she started showing before me, felt the baby move before me, etc. At first I was bummed, but once these things started happening to me, I didn't care at all that she felt them first. Don't worry! It will all happen in time. Appreciate the time before you are too big and uncomfortable!
ETA--btw, I didn't start showing until about 19 or 20 weeks. I still get comments and nobody believes I'm as far along as I am...23 weeks. I didn't feel the baby until about 20 weeks.

Re: why not me why why why
I highly doubt she can feel anything in there, and I would yell at her for pushing that hard if she could I was pretty small when I got pregnant also, and I didn't feel anything until 17 weeks and started showing a tiny bump @ 12 weeks (you can check out my album, if you like). Believe me, you will be showing before you know it. This is just about the time it starts. You'll be posting your bump in a week or two

Re: why not me why why why
I'm sorry but I think she is nuts. How can she feel the "body parts" by pushing? What does she feel? An arm? A leg? That actually made me laugh out loud...
How far along is she?

Re: why not me why why why
First of all, if she's feeling anything, it's her intestines being squished up above the placenta. She's not feeling baby parts and if she is, that's probably not a good thing at this point.
Secondly, be careful what you wish for! I couldn't wait to show. I couldn't wait to look pregnant. And once I finally did I scared small children and grown men with the size of my belly.
