Why is this SOOOO hard?
Tomorrow is my last day at my job & Im trying to write a "goodbye" & farewell e-mail to send to everyone. The thoughts are in my head, but my mind is drawing a blank . I want to keep it short & sincere. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been with the company 4 years- this is NOT easy!

I'm not one for good-byes but I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to express my thanks. Thank you for everything you have done to support me and encourage me. You all have really been there for me in ways I could not have imagined. I had a wonderful tome at XX and will always look back with incredible fondness and gratitude. I cannot put into words how much you have meant to me on a personal and professional level. You are all fantastic in every way and will always hold a special place in my heart.

First off, I think that is so sweet of you to do.  I've seen emails like what your describing before and the best ones have been short and sweet. I think maybe just let everyone know how much you've enjoyed working with them and how much you've appreciated and learned from the experiences there. I wouldn't go into too much detail. Even if you leaving is a very good thing for you career-wise, it is still going to be hard because you've spent 4 years of your life there and it's a big change to leave. You'll do great, no matter what you do!
