Why is it that
on the days I have to work the alarm wakes me up and I just want to hit snooze...
and on my days off I am up and wide awake at 6am???

I know...damn internal alarm clock. And now you can't fall back to sleep. I hate that!
I saw lay on the couch and watch a movie...since you're off, you can't do ANYTHING today.

Same thing happens to me!! I think its a mental thing...you don't mind waking up for a day off...so you jump out of bed. Work on the other hand, or the gym for me, I hit snooze and feel like I can sleep for 5 more hours!

Happens to me all the time.
I swear there are mornings where I have to go to work where I would give ANYTHING to sleep for a few more hours. It's actually physically painful to get up and moving
Then on days off- I'm WIDE awake.

I don't have that problem....I hate getting up early on the weekends, I hit snooze at least 5 times! I like to sleep til at least 12, even though that never happens lol
