Not baby related - need advice - engagement party
DH and I are going to an engagement party in a week - its for the daughter of one of my mom's closest friends. Its at a resturant. What would be appropriate as a gift $50, $75??

To me I think $100 would be too much considering you're not really close to them yourself. I'd say $50.00. It is only an Engagement party... JMO! Not that an Engagement party is not important, but it's only the beginning of the bigger things.

$50 and call it a day, usually they are more for family and really close friends so I woulndn't worry about it
