Ladies who are still looking to get more formal china/Lenox, etc.
I know it's a drive for most of you, but Filene's is going out of business. They still seem to have a lot and all the china, etc. is 30% off. There is one in the Danbury Fair Mall in CT. and I believe there is one in Rockland too. Just thought I'd pass it along in case anyone wanted to do a road trip.

The entire chain is going out of business? Because there is one in Manhasset on Northern Blvd

I didn't know that! I won'der if that one's closing too? Federated has bought the May Company, which owns Filene's. It seems like Filene's is going to become Macy's though there are malls that already have a Macy's.
It's weird too because there's nothing in the store about the store closing- it just says "Inventory Clearance" and they will not take returns or open new bridal registries.
