Why does the house fall to shambles so quickly when you have kids?

So Maddie's had a cold for the last 10days which she so graciously shared with DH and I. Since we all've been feeling under the weather I have been doing the bare minimum when it comes to housekeeping. Now that I'm feeling better I really want to scrub this house down and get rid of all these germs once and for all but when I look around at the mess I'm feeling overwhelmed.

I know the feeling I am still unorganized from moving and it is driving me nuts.

I need DH to take the kids somewhere and just get down to it. I clean but I feel like it still looks messy and I hate that.

Ugh, that was me last month when the whole family was sick for month of Feb.

I feel your pain

I started with one room at a time, gave me a sense of accomplishment when it was done And I DEF enlisted DH to help clean up too
