Why does my fireplace stink?
We've only been in our house a little over a year and have had the chimney cleaned two times already and it still smells especially now that the weather is getting warmer.

Re: Why does my fireplace stink?
Is it possible that there is an animal trapped in there? Sounds gross but is possible.

What kind of smell?
I know our fireplace gets a stronger odor when the air pressure changes. It's not necessarily a bad odor, just stronger.

It smells like my house had a major fire.

Re: Why does my fireplace stink?
we get that too sometimes, I'm not sure if its from a wind change or a change in pressure
clean out all the ashes and put a bowl of distilled vinegar in there
